I’ve updated briefly on Japanese funeral after leaving the crematorium.
Simply, do the “初七日”, the “first 7 day ritual” on the day of cremation so that no one needs to come back after 7 days of death.
精進落しは軽い忌明けの意味でもあります。そして肉料理も解禁（本来は魚も含めます）。
